A 2012 Round of Words

This is my official post registering me in Round 1 of 2012’s Round of Words in 80 Days. I’m still making my goals list which will be posted on January 2nd, the official start date. I’m glad to be back, to have this space of my own again even though I’m fairly certain my writing time will be limited as there are a few things coming up in the next 80 days, like a move to a new state. But I’m here!

  1. Welcome back. I to will be taking part again. I had better start thinking of my goals. I had it down as just 1) write, but think I should be a little more defined than that. Otherwise I am liable to run amok and cause too much trouble than is good for me.

An interstate move, that is quite the undertaking. Is it a cross country state change or neighboring? The good thing about Holland is one province to the other is no distance at all. 2 or 3 hours in either direction and you are in a different country.

    Good luck with the move.

    • The move is just the next state above me, maybe 300 miles away? Something like that. I think a little more refining of goals is good, Alex. Can’t wait to see what you come up with! I hope it’s finishing H2H2 🙂

      • Thats Crystal, H2H:2 should be ready around Feb. I am now almost midway through editing. I also plan to re-edit and re-relese a short story collection and a seperate novel later in 2012.

300 Miles. For me that is another country haha. Good luck with the move, I am sure everything will go smoothly.

  2. Hi, Crystal. This being my first ROW80, I was checking the Linky list to “meet” the other people participating…and I saw the name of your blog. LOVE it. Avocados are ….wel, awesome.

  3. Sometimes I wish life would stop for writing. 🙂 I would get so much more done! I am doing ROW 80 for the first time, and I love the idea of it. I love the energy that supported writing brings! Good luck with your goals and packing for the move!
